Office of Project Management & Procurement

The key aims of the Office of Project Management & Procurement are to:

  • Ensure transparency, fairness and integrity in all procurement matters;
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to Departments and Ministries on all project management and procurement matters;
  • Ensure consistency of approach to project management & procurement;
  • Monitor compliance with Government procurement rules and associated policies and procedures;
  • Undertake the contracting for goods and services that are used across Government e.g. furniture, photocopiers, paper etc;
  • Provide professional project management and support for capital projects; and
  • Improve value for money and identify/implement cost saving initiatives.
General Information      

 

OPMP provides oversight, guidance and support to Government Departments regarding procurement processes and contracting activities.  OPMP helps to ensure that processes for tendering and selecting qualified vendors are transparent and consistent with international standards and best practices.  OPMP also helps to ensure that all businesses have an equal opportunity to obtain government contracts to provide goods and services.  Additionally, OPMP is a service organization that assists departments with capital projects by providing professional project management and support services.

 

Procurement Notices

There may be business opportunities for your company to provide goods or services to the Government of Bermuda, either through a direct contract or by becoming a subcontractor. These opportunities can now be found under “Current Procurement Notices”.

Each procurement notice will have:

  • A short description of what the buyer wants and other relevant information;

  • Details of the deadline for responding;

  • Details of who to contact or where to find further information; and

  • Downloadable copies of the solicitation documents, e.g. Request for Tender or Request for Proposal.

The procurement notice board also has details on Government opportunities where the submission deadline has passed.  These are listed under “Closed Procurement Notices”.

Request for Proposal:  Request for Proposals (RFP) for Air Operations and Maintenance Services at L.F. Wade International Airport, Bermuda

Executive Summary:

Proposals are invited from contractor/firms who are fully experienced and qualified in Air Operations and Maintenance Services, who will provide the Department of Airport Operations (DAO) with associated cost for a three (3) years’ comprehensive service agreement, with a two (2) year extension option, subject to satisfactory performance, at the L.F. Wade International Airport, Bermuda.

Executive Summary:

The Ministry of Health, Seniors and Environment, is seeking information and creative ideas for solutions to implement, manage and operate a system to provide pre-certification of diagnostic medical testing for Bermuda’s healthcare system.

The Ministry is seeking industry experts to submit RFI responses that will assist with assessing the most advantageous and cost effective solution.  The information gathered by this RFI will help determine the optimal approach to procuring a new solution.

With this RFI we request information regarding your company and your products/services.  The same information will be gathered from different companies and will be used to evaluate the sourcing process with an official open RFP.

Request for Proposal: Westgate Correctional Facility, CCTV System Upgrade

Executive Summary:

The DOC wishes to replace twenty-one (21) existing cameras (6 PTZ and 15 stationary) with appropriate IP based high resolution cameras, and install a new 360 degrees camera in the dining room along with a scalable recording device or devices.  The cameras must be capable of detecting objects, movements and identification of persons.

The successful contractor will also be required to adequately maintain the entire CCTV System for a period three (3) years.
